Integration motivates the economy of Maliandao

On Feb 18th, Maliandao Tea Economy Development Forum was hold in Guangwai neighborhood office of Xuanwu District. The officials from neighborhood office and Maliandao Tea Association and 3 doctors in economics from Beijing Normal University, including the enterprises and Zhangxiaofang, Deputy General Manager of Gengxiang Co.

At the meeting, all reviewed the history of Maliandao economy development. The officials confirms business mode based on tea mall and the social influence. Meanwhile, several current crisises were brought out.

Firstly, thereare mainly wholesale markets along the tea street, but recently the advantage on wholesale is reduced because some new tea malls were opened in surrounding provinces of Beijing.

Secondly, the incresement of tea procuction and the slow growth of consumers leaded that supply exceeded demand.

Thirdly, some nagitive effects on the Maliandao economy caused by great events such as the Olympics was analyzed.

Finally, the doctors gave some suggestion of Maliandao development in the future. They pointed out that Maliandao market must be integrated and standarlized and pay attention to brand and high-tech instrument construction.
